Today, Stephen looks at the wealth of wisdom of King Solomon and his fall into idolatry. 

In our passage today the Lord gives Solomon a warning: Obey me and things will go well. Disobey me and things will fall apart. Today we discuss how this is still a principal of life.

King Solomon made extravagant sacrifices to the Lord. How do we make extravagant sacrifices to God? 

We have a God who hears. Call out to God. 

Notice that King Solomon's palace was at the foot to the Temple complex. Here we have an example, a visual representation, of God's place in our life. 

In the building of the Temple in Jerusalem there was much beauty and craftsmanship. How do we incorporate beauty and craftsmanship in our life today? 

King Solomon could turn his attention to building a temple for God's Name since he was in a place of peace. We can build and grow and strive for the kingdom when we are at peace too. 

How do we work on our marriages? We work on our relationship with God. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you.
